The exhibition was born around the participatory project 𝓖𝓻𝓮𝓮𝓷 𝓢𝓽𝓸𝓻𝔂 – conceived and coordinated by Nicla Ferrari – which through a pictorial installation created together with 17 creatives, highlights the gifts of the garden to stimulate attention towards sustainable nutrition and environmentally conscious.

In the other works on display, the artists suggest reflections on aspects such as biodiversity, recycling, breeding, cultivation, care for the environment.

Sometimes it's denied to us, sometimes it's a need, or a habit, sometimes it's a hidden need and sometimes we're forced to, sometimes we have to invent it. Touching is the sense that most of all makes us earthly, material, alive precisely because it acts as a medium. Contact is a highway towards the beyond, towards an emotional and fragile destiny. There is no aseptic contact. The contact is linked to the emotional sphere. Touching also metaphorically, finds meaning in becoming part of something different from our ego, forces us to compare, leads us to reflect on differences, drags us into unknown worlds. Making connections, keeping in touch, makes us human.

Fabio Adani paints rarefied and intangible atmospheres, he tells the importance of contact by removing it from a reality made up of single figures that fluctuate in search of a direction. Francesca Artoni's sculptures speak of our visceral relationship with the environment, with our past, they speak of the present and whisper to the future. Maddalena Barletta creates a story telling, through plexy printing, about three macro topics Human, Urban and Nature: essential and necessary conditions to tell our contemporary. The solitude of nocturnal places painted by Massimo Bassi bring us back to the reality of the last few years of the pandemic. The forced isolation and the desire to return to fill the spaces of life. Milena Buzzoni is an artist who with paper and iron aims to describe the high ideals of life. Two very common materials that you the artist transforms into poetic and conceptual metaphors. For Massimo Canuti, contact inevitably leads to such a profound exchange that the parts merge, giving life to mythological beings because, after all, it is impossible to remain extraneous to contact: in any case, contact leads to change. In her photographic works Emanuela Cerutti puts herself at the center of the scene, becoming its protagonist; thus a silent dialogue is born where the contact is a dialogue with the other part of oneself. For Nicla Ferrari, contact is pressure in which the two parties seek a new balance. Two hands that meet or perhaps collide causing resistance but at the same time sharing. The boats as a metaphor for our life; this is how Mirko Frignani reflects on the theme of contact. Small boats that meet and collide create exchanges in a continuous and eternal movement. Cristina Iotti with a powerful series of photographic still lifes tells how relationships have changed in recent years: few subjects but crucial to transmit everything we have experienced and not due to the pandemic. Contacts and relationships evolve and change over time mainly thanks to technology. Oscar Piovosi paints scenes of ordinary contemporary everyday life. A graphic black and white characterizes the sculptural works of Giovanni Sala: the artist searches for new connections in which human figures chase new balances such as in yin and yang.
