Blooms and other follies Visual stories between paper, blue and memory
As is now my habit, on the occasion of the Contemporary Day organized by Amaci on Saturday 4 October, I will open the doors of my studio on both Saturday 4 October and Sunday 5 October.
Among floral cyanotypes, drawings, ultramarine blue papier-mâché vases and visual narratives inspired by stories of forgotten women, matter and memory, lightness and depth, ancient techniques and artificial intelligence, manual skill and thought intertwine. A journey made of flourishes and small creative follies, where each work tells a fragment, an emotion or a story. I'm waiting for you like every year to share with you my world, my new creations and to have a chat together.
Over the two days there will be demonstrations of papier-mâché processing for the creation of vases and the cyanotype technique.
Also this year, on the occasion of the contemporary day, now in its twentieth edition, I will open the doors of my atelier to let you enter and get to know my world.
You can see my new "path", which I have embarked since this year, in the world of papier -mâché and in the realization of vases, which is new to me and born almost by chance.
In addition to the vases, I will present some works of my new project for the first time to the public, which I hold a lot, still in the evolution and realization phase.
As every year I try to present my latest works and my most recent artistic activity accompanied as always also to the works that are part of my artistic path, which ranges from drawing, to photography, cyanotype, to the restyling of old cabinets, to the creation of wallpapers for wallpapers.
The atelier will be open both on Saturday 12 October, the contemporary day and Sunday 13 October.
For the occasion, I will also carry out demonstrations of the processing of the papier -mâché and elaborate with the cyanotype technique.
