La nuova stagione espositiva della ranarossa Gallery prenderà il via a partire dal 10 febbraio 2024 con la seconda edizione della mostra collettiva dal titolo RESPIRO.
Il respiro della terra, il respiro del mare, il respiro della vita, tutto ciò che vive respira.
E allora parliamo di natura, di ambiente, di ecologia, di mari e ghiacciai, di nascita e morte parliamo di vita, il RESPIRO è VITA, è il principio.
Impalpabile, invisibile, silenzioso quello della natura, lo possiamo ascoltare nel vento, figurare tra le foglie o in un battito d’ali..
Il nostro può essere lieve o profondo, lungo, corto, ma è comunque quel respiro a cui non badiamo, e che invece insieme al battito del cuore ci tiene vivi, accompagna le nostre vite, e ci abbandona soltanto alla fine della nostra esistenza.
Il respiro è il principio e la fine.
Scandisce il nostro tempo, ha un suo ritmo, come il cuore.
Respiriamo profondamente per rilassarci, per concentrarci, possiamo fare un respiro di sollievo e sentirci meglio, o al contrario, l’angoscia, la paura ci fanno trattenere il respiro.
Presente, passato e futuro, il respiro ci avvolge, ci permea, è presente ovunque, filosofia, scienza, letteratura, poesia.
La musica, per esempio è piena di respiri, come per Battisti e Mogol “Amarsi un po’ è respirare”, i Pink Floyd in Breathe in the air, “respira nell’aria e non aver paura di prenderti cura di qualcosa” dove il respirare può essere un ritorno alla vita attraverso l’empatia, e ancora “Resta con me.. Respiriamo soltanto” in Just Breathe dei Pearl Jam o Sergio Cammariere che canta “E mi manca il respiro se tu te ne vai”, Renato Zero in Amico “io e te lo stesso respiro” o Celentano “mentre là in centro io respiro il cemento” nel Ragazzo della via Gluck che già accennava a problemi ecologici..
E l’Arte, cos’è per l’artista e come si può rappresentare il respiro, con quali colori, forme o immagini?
Martina Dalla Stella, Cristina Davoli, Paola Geranio, Cristina Iotti, Daniele Milanesi, Ersilia Leonini, Alessandro Monti, Grazia Salierno, Ersilia Sarrecchia, Michele Stagni, Abraham Sidney, Gaetano Tommasi, Gabriele Ugolini, Alberto Zecchini sono gli artisti chiamati a mostrare la loro idea di RESPIRO in una collettiva eterogenea e singolare.

THE 5TH BIENNIAL OF CONTEMPORARY ART OF SALERNO

From 21 October to 05 November 2023, Palazzo Fruscione opens its doors to the fifth Biennial of Contemporary Art of Salerno, attracting artists from all over the world.
Curated this year by Giuseppe Gorga, who founded it with Olga Marciano, the Biennale is an unmissable event for art and an attraction for artists from all over the world.
There are 220 works participating in the exhibition, with more than 50 works on video display, in a rich and varied representation of the chosen theme entitled “INSIDE.”
An invitation to introspection and in-depth analysis which, in times that burn in a like on social media, represent the other point of view. In fact, art conveys those cultural and human values ​​that current events often obscure or empty of meaning.
The biennial is a window into the inner world of the artist, an exceptional witness and protagonist of his own individuality, for a creative and peculiar artistic vision.
Inside is the disintegration of the whole, it is isolation, it is reflection, it is existential interiority.
The recomposition of the many points of view, through the exhibition of paintings, sculptures and art objects, will be the mosaic from which to recover the overall vision to restructure the emotional and cognitive fraying of the contemporary.
