SYMPOSIUM _ first edition art festival
The title of the exhibition, characterized as the first edition of the art festival, is Symposium, inspired by Plato's Symposium, in this case understood as a generational "meeting - comparison" in the sector of figurative arts, a sector that has dictated, and continues to do so, the guidelines in fashion, design and various current aesthetics.
The exhibition will take place by displaying works by internationally renowned masters, alongside research into new proposals, in a fusion between the art of the late 1900s and that of the third millennium.
The installations will respect the architecture of the host site, the Ettore Fieramosca Castle in Mignano Monte Lungo (CE), communicating with the pre-existing structures.
The works will be divided into an educational path between the various types of research, such as the figurative, the conceptual and so on to avoid creating visual pollution.
The artists, coming from all over Italy, are important names, such as Tommaso Cascella and Giampaolo Talani, who will be the focus of the exhibition together with Claudio Magrassi, Emiliano Terenzi, Cristina Iotti, Francesco Zefferino, Roberto Fabio Brucci, Patrizia Pansi, Giuseppe Persia, Angela De Lucia, Maria Rosanna Cafolla, Susanna Viale and Walter Passarella.
From the outcome of the Symposium we will try to understand the direction of current art to give clear indications to collectors, dealers and users with works coeval with the historical period in which we live.
The exhibition is organized by the "eXclusive _ contemporary art collections" of the curator Paolo Feroce and yes will open on Saturday 25 July at 6.30 pm, with free entry, in the presence of political and religious authorities.
