Sunday 23 November, at 4.00 pm, at the Sala delle Colonne of Ca' la Ghironda, the exhibition of the 2025 edition of the Marchionni Prize is inaugurated, the international contemporary art competition launched by the Magmma Museum of Villacidro.
The winners of this edition present in Bologna, which, we remember, is the prize for being chosen by the Jury, are:
(for the section Painting), in addition to Vanja Kashawelska and Marco Longo, first overall ex aequo: Stefano Invernizzi, Vanni Rocca, Paride Di Stefano, Ivan Toninato, Alessanfro Botti, Carlo Martini, Sofia Fresia, Rosy Mantovani, Stefano Santi.
(For the section Graphics) beyond Daniela Savini first overall, Fabio Pacifico, Erika Campanella, Giulia Cantarutti, Diletta Ferretti, Tina Sgrò, Francesca Musig, Roberta Congiu, Cristina Iotti
Judging the works was a high-quality jury: Umberto Palestini, director of the Urbino Academy of Fine Arts, one of the most important artistic institutions in Italy, Laura Martinelli, head of cultural activities at the Cà La Ghironda Museum, Adriano Corsi, director of the Lazzaro Archive in Milan, Giorgio Sorrentino of the Artesanterasmo Gallery in Milan, Vitaliano Angelini, president of Incisori Urbinati and Arialdo CERIBELLI, Ceribelli Gallery Bergamo.
This year too, the Marchionni Prize is dedicated to Dino Marchionni, a superb engraver who left his hometown of Urbino in 1954 to teach in Villacidro, where he remained until the end of his life.
