Marchionni Prize 2025 Tenth edition

This year the 10th edition is celebrated; Due to the renovation works that began at the Episcopal Palace of Villacidro which also concern the spaces of the Magmm Museum, for the first time the final phase of the Marchionni Prize will take place outside the city walls.

"Thanks to the personal friendship and the mutual esteem that over time has been created with Father Roberto Carboni Archbishop of Oristano, the prize arrives at the Diocesan Arborense museum; and here that we will be guests until the works in Villacidro will last. The prize is an initiative of Magmas(il Mediterranean graphic art museum Marchionni, which, with the organization of the Aesthetic & Progress Foundation and the support of the Foundation of Sardinia, Thus intends to promote and enhance contemporary graphic art.

The competition.This year they were 485 The works registered in the competition, arrived from all over the world. The 40 finalists (20 for the section Graphics e20 for the Painting) plus the rednessopagation prize with six finalist pears.will be exhibited Until 26 July p.v.

The jury composed of Umberto Palestini, director of the Academy of Fine Arts Urbino (among the most important artistic institutions in Italy),Vitaliano Angelini, president of the Urbinati incisors, Laura Martinelli Head of Cultural Activities of the Cà La Ghironda Museum of Zola Predosa Bologna,, Adriano Corsi, Director of the Lazzaro Archive, in Milan, Pietro Tomassini director of the Palazzo delle Arti of Lecce e Arialdo Ceribelli, Director, antiquarian, collector of the Ceribelli Gallery of Bergamo, will appoint the absolute winner of the two main sections, the Graphics and the Painting, to which a prize of 1.000 euro more a personal exhibition in the’Archive Lazzaro of Milan prestigious artistic institution which will also offer a collaboration, and the special prize "Cà la Ghironda", which consists of a personal in the rooms of the most prestigious private museum in Italy.

The finalist artists are: graphics: Pani, Ciresola, Pacifico, Fochesato, Campanella, Dore, Cantarutti, Savini, Salierno, Tonello, Botti, Ferretti, Salvati, Iotti, Sgrò, Musig, Kashawelska, La Mantia, Congiu painting: winter, unleashed, Rocca, Di Stefano, Toninato, Botti, Tonel. Martini, Fresia, Tosi, Stark, Abate, Mantovani, Moschella, Kashawelska, Santi, Longo, Masotti.
